Big Union Win for Local 1104

 

We are excited to report that we recently organized 292 research assistants at the Research Foundation at State University of New York – Binghamton! The election was won overwhelmingly to join CWA Local 1104. I want to thank District 1 staff, our Local 1104 staff of our Education Division and all the organizers for you hard work, dealing with the time constraints that we were up against to make this happen. It was an all-hands-on approach in Binghamton over the last few months, hitting the pavement each day and could not have been made possible without everyone involved. We will work to bargain a 1st contract in the coming months.
