A message from President Mike Ippoliti
Today, we come together to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a figure who inspired us to stand up for our beliefs through civil and peaceful actions with the goal of uniting our nation. As he famously stated, "Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability but comes through continuous struggle." Let us take a moment to reflect on Dr. King's enduring legacy.
The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963 was organized by legendary labor leader A. Philip Randolph, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his legendary "I Have a Dream" speech.
